We are delighted to share the 2026 Chijnaya Foundation Scholarship Yearbook, celebrating the students whose determination and aspirations are at the heart of our Scholarship Program—and the generous donors who make their educational journeys possible.

Each year, Chijnaya provides scholarships to talented students from rural communities in Southern Peru, helping them pursue higher education and build opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities. The 2026 yearbook offers a closer look at this year’s scholarship recipients, their fields of study, and the dreams they are working toward.

This year, the Foundation awarded 51 scholarships, including 19 named scholarships. These named scholarships provide a particularly meaningful opportunity to honor the memory of a loved one or recognize someone special while investing in the education of a promising student.

We invite you to take some time to explore the 2026 Scholarship Yearbook and meet the students who are benefiting from this program. Their stories are a powerful reminder that an educational opportunity can have an impact that extends far beyond one individual.

Since 2007, the Chijnaya Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students pursuing degrees in fields including nursing, agronomy, anthropology, engineering, business administration, teaching, information technology, and more. Many of these students come from communities where access to higher education can be limited, making the support of our scholarship donors especially meaningful.

Your Support Makes These Opportunities Possible

The Scholarship Program depends on the generosity of people who believe in the power of education. A gift can help a student continue their studies and move closer to achieving their professional goals.

  • $800 can fully fund a scholarship for one student.
  • Establishing a named scholarship is a meaningful way to honor a loved one’s memory or create opportunities for students pursuing a particular field of study.
  • A gift of any amount helps us continue providing scholarships to students from rural Andean communities.

As you read through this year’s yearbook, we hope you’ll see not only the individual students, but also the broader impact of investing in education. Every scholarship represents an opportunity—and every student represents the possibility of contributing their knowledge, skills, and experience back to their family and community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes the Chijnaya Scholarship Program possible. Thank you for believing in these students, celebrating their accomplishments, and helping create opportunities for the next generation.
